My A Court of Mist and Fury Book Review - No Spoilers
Plot Summary
A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas picks up with Feyre Archeron three months after the events of the first book. She’s engaged to Tamlin but haunted by nightmares and feeling suffocated. Tamlin’s control pushes her away, and she realizes she isn’t meant to be trapped. That’s when Rhysand, the High Lord of the Night Court, steps in. Feyre’s journey takes her to his world—one of healing, power, and freedom, where she begins to reclaim her identity. Together, they face growing threats from the King of Hybern and glimpse an unfolding war that could uproot everything she knows, all while her connection to Rhysand deepens in unexpected ways.
Why I Love This Book
I love how Feyre’s growth hits me. She goes from being trapped and broken to fiercely reclaiming herself. I feel her trauma, her moments of panic, and how she fights through them with every choice she makes. I also love the shift in the romance—where it’s not just chemistry, it’s partnership, respect, and healing. And I can’t get enough of the Night Court and its inner circle. That found-family feeling and fierce loyalty? It leaves me longing to be part of something that real.
