My Alpha’s Prize Book Review - No Spoilers
Plot Summary
Alpha’s Prize by Renee Rose and Lee Savino centers on Sedona, the daughter of a wolf pack alpha, who gets kidnapped while on spring break and sold to a rival pack. Locked in a cell without warning, she finds herself caught in a full-moon-induced connection with a powerful alpha named Carlos. He marks her as his mate and then releases her to her family. But once marked, Sedona can never be fully free—and neither can Carlos.
Why I Love This Book
I love how messy and urgent it feels. Sedona’s fear and confusion hit me. And Carlos—he’s raw, dominant, but there’s this fierce protectiveness I can’t ignore. I feel the heat in every interaction, even when suspicion and danger swirl around them. I love that he doesn’t just claim her—he fights to keep her safe, even when letting her go feels like heartbreak. And I can’t shake them after I finish.
Who Will Like This Book
If you like dark paranormal romance with alpha wolf heroes, fated mate tension, and emotional stakes tied up in pack politics and danger, this might stick with you. If you don’t mind forceful attraction, captive-to-mate arcs, and high stakes, you’ll feel the rush.
⚠️ Trigger warning: This book includes kidnapping, non-consensual beginnings to intimacy, forced marking, power imbalance, and explicit sexual content. It’s intense, and you should check your comfort level first.
