Dirty Billionaire Book Review - No Spoilers
I was at the mall last week trying on dresses for an upcoming event. The saleswoman kept bringing me options that were way out of my price range. When I finally told her my budget, she looked at me like I was wasting her time. It reminded me that sometimes people judge you based on money alone. That encounter was still bothering me when I started Dirty Billionaire by Meghan March. This book is unapologetically explicit and features a possessive alpha billionaire who thinks money can buy anything—including the woman he wants.
Plot Summary
Creighton Karas is a ruthless billionaire who conquers business deals and women with equal ease. He's wealthy, arrogant, and bored with his predictable life of easy conquests. Holly Wix is a talented country singer on the verge of stardom, but she's trapped in a toxic contract with a predatory record label that's demanding things she's not willing to give. Desperate for one night of escape before her life spirals completely out of control, Holly meets a mysterious stranger in a hotel bar. Their chemistry is explosive and they spend an unforgettable night together. Holly disappears the next morning without leaving her name or number. Creighton is obsessed with finding her again. He posts a viral missed connection ad proposing marriage to the mystery woman. When Holly sees it, she's shocked but also tempted by the outrageous offer. She needs help escaping her record deal, and Creighton wants her back in his bed. They strike a deal that leads to fake marriage, real passion, and complications neither of them expected.
Why I Love This Book
I love how over-the-top this book is. Creighton is filthy-mouthed, possessive, and completely obsessed with Holly from the first night. His dirty talk is intense and his dominance is unapologetic. Holly isn't a pushover though. She challenges him and refuses to let him steamroll her outside the bedroom. I think their dynamic is hot and entertaining. The marriage of convenience setup gives the story urgency. The steam is incredibly high with frequent explicit scenes. This is pure escapism with an alpha hero who will do anything to claim the woman he wants. It's the first book in a trilogy so it ends on a cliffhanger.
Who Will Like This Book
This book is perfect for readers who love dirty-talking alpha billionaires and high-heat romance. If you enjoy dominant heroes, explicit sex scenes, and possessive behavior, you'll love Creighton. Fans of marriage of convenience and one-night stand tropes will enjoy the setup. This is great for anyone who wants pure smut with an addictive billionaire hero. Be prepared for frequent steamy scenes and strong language throughout. Since this is part one of a trilogy, expect a cliffhanger ending.
⚠️ Trigger warning: explicit sexual content, dominant/submissive dynamics, dirty talk, strong language, predatory business practices, cliffhanger ending.
