My Fallen Crest High Book Review - No Spoilers
Plot Summary
Fallen Crest High by Tijan drops me right into a storm of chaos, secrets, and teenage rebellion. Samantha, or Sam, is seventeen when her mother suddenly announces a divorce and drags Sam from everything she knows to live with her new fiancé. That means Sam gets two stepbrothers—Mason and Logan Kade—who are notorious at their public high school for being rich, wild, and never following rules. While Sam keeps her guard up and tries to avoid drama, she’s forced into the crossfire between old friends, new enemies, and growing feelings she can’t control. The walls between her and the Kade brothers come down in unpredictable ways, and she learns that loyalty can start in the unlikeliest places. All the while, school rivalries, secrets, and twisted family loyalties pile on, leaving Sam with no choice but to find her own strength—or risk being crushed by everything falling apart around her.
Why I Love This Book
I love how Fallen Crest High is pure, unfiltered angst. Every chapter is full of wild parties, betrayals, and high-stakes drama. The story is messy in a way that feels honest—nobody pretends to be a role model here. Sam is tough, stubborn, and never lets people push her around (even when it hurts). She runs—not just for escape, but for survival.
The Kade brothers aren’t easy to figure out. Mason is intense and fiercely loyal, Logan is blunt and sharp-edged. Watching their family bond—twisted and loyal at the same time—makes me want to keep reading, even when I’m rolling my eyes at someone’s bad choice. I feel the pull of their parties, the tension in every secret, and I laugh at their offbeat, rough-around-the-edges banter. The book doesn’t hold back; it gives me all the drama, steam, jealousies, ridiculous fights, and jaw-dropping twists I could want. Even when I think I’ve seen every impossible plot turn, it manages to surprise me.
Who Will Like This Book
If you want a story that’s fast, dramatic, and lives for the next disaster, this one is for you. You’ll like this if you don’t mind messy families, rich-kid drama, love-hate rivalries, and high school politics that feel cutthroat. It’s a good fit for fans of angst, forbidden romance, and stories where characters make terrible mistakes but somehow find something real and loyal at the end. If you love addictive binge-reads with plenty of “did that really just happen?!” moments, you’ll be hooked. If you prefer sweet romance and sensible choices—maybe skip this one.

🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ | Explicit
There’s a lot of heat—this book does not shy away from open-door scenes. The romance is messy, driven by raw attraction, jealousy, and reckless choices. Physical chemistry is a huge part of the story, so if you like your books with explicit scenes and emotional chaos, this one brings it. If you want fade-to-black, just a warning: things get spicy and leave little to the imagination.
