Plot Summary

Why I Love This Book
I love that this book is raw about family, rivalry, shame, and learning to want what scares you most. Avi and Kyran shouldn’t work—and the story never pretends their history or differences are easy to untangle. I love Avi’s dirty mouth, wild spirit, and his refusal to hide who he is, even when it hurts. Kyran’s pain and prickly armor are real, and every small moment where he lets Avi in feels huge. The way they move from mutual hatred to connection is gradual and believable. The sex is explicit and frequent, but never painted as empty; every scene moves the characters forward or cracks them open in some way. There’s humor and heat, but I stay for the growing trust and the hope that acceptance is possible—even messy and defiant, in front of everyone. I admire how honestly the book deals with coming out, public scrutiny, and the messiness of building a real relationship when life is stacked against you.
Who Will Like This Book
If you want high-stakes queer romance with enemies-to-lovers tension, explicit content, and complex feelings, you’ll like this. Stepbrother and OnlyFans tropes are front and center, with lots of forbidden and opposites-attract energy. The story is long, intense, and sometimes messy, but delivers plenty of vulnerability, laughs, angst, and happy-for-now resilience. It’s great if you love steamy scenes, sharp dialog, and stories about owning your truth in public.
