Sugar Daddies Book Review - No Spoilers
Last week at work, I had to sit through a meeting about restructuring our department. My boss kept talking about finding the right fit, someone who could blend with the existing team dynamic. It reminded me how complicated relationships can be when you're trying to make things work with multiple people. That's exactly what Katie faces in Sugar Daddies by Jade West. This steamy romance explores what happens when three people try to build something real together.
Plot Summary
Katie is a small town girl working two jobs and saving money to buy a farm where she can teach kids to ride horses. When she discovers a sugar daddy website, one ad catches her eye. Carl and Rick are two bisexual men in a committed relationship seeking a woman to complete their trio. They offer financial support and companionship. Katie has always fantasized about being with two men, so she responds. Carl is a graphic designer who seems guarded and intense. Rick heads a sales division and has a fun, laid-back personality. As Katie gets to know them, the arrangement starts feeling like more than a transaction. But Carl and Rick have a secret, something they need to tell Katie before things go further. It's the same revelation that sent every other woman running. Katie has to decide if she can handle their truth or if she'll be the next one to walk away.
Why I Love This Book
I love how this book isn't just about the physical relationship. Yes, the spice is definitely there and it's scorching hot. But underneath all that heat is a real story about people trying to build a life together. Katie is such a relatable character. She has big dreams and she's working hard to make them happen. I appreciate that she doesn't lose herself in the relationship. Carl and Rick are complex characters who each bring something different to the dynamic. Carl's intensity balances Rick's easygoing nature. The emotional depth surprised me. There are moments that made me tear up because the characters are dealing with real issues like abandonment, family trauma, and finding acceptance. The book explores what family means and how love doesn't always look traditional. I think Jade West did an excellent job showing that unconventional relationships can be just as meaningful and committed as traditional ones.
Who Will Like This Book
This book is perfect for readers who enjoy menage romance with emotional depth. If you're looking for explicit MMF content with bisexual representation, this delivers. Fans of Jade West's other work will appreciate her signature style. The book works well for readers who like their romance with real-world complications and characters who have baggage to work through. If you enjoy poly romance that explores what commitment looks like with multiple partners, you'll appreciate this story. The steam level is very high, so this is definitely for readers who want explicit content. But if you also want a story with heart and characters who feel real, this book offers both.
